Nine people were killed and eight injured when a heavy truck lost control and crashed into residences on Monday in Luoyuan county, Fujian province, according to local police.The accident occurred at about 6:17 am after the truck had a brake failure on a downhill section and smashed into two houses on the side of National Highway 104. Authorities at provincial and city levels have sent relief personnel to the scene and orderly traffic is resuming.
