Microsoft announced today that it plans to hold an event for media and analysts on Oct. 20 in San Francisco to discuss the company’s future plans for its cloud services. The briefing is being billed as a discussion of Microsoft’s plans for business users, as well as a showcase of how Microsoft Azure differs from Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Plaform.?CEO Satya Nadella will be there presenting, along with Scott Guthrie, the company’s Executive Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise.
Monday's drop was the third consecutive day of losses and erased the Dow's gains for 2020, dragging the index into the red.

Misener said Amazon plans to demonstrate the safety of its drone operations to the Federal Aviation Administration in hopes of gaining regulatory approval. But if the FAA doesn’t give the go-ahead for drone delivery, Amazon could still implement the system in other markets around the world. “There’s no reason why the United States must be first,” he said. “We hope it is.”
