The project marks a milestone in the company's billion investment project announced in July 2018. The first plants will produce engineering plastics and thermoplastic polyurethane to serve the increasing needs of various growth industries in the southern China market and throughout Asia.
The project will introduce skills-based training courses to 10,000 primary schools and high schools in 100 counties across the country that will teach students how to help somebody facing mental health problems. A standardized report on the mental health condition in adolescents will be annually conducted based on reliable survey and research.
The project, scheduled to be completed in 2019, will involve the building of a hall of the Goddess of Mercy, known as Guanyin in Chinese. A large amount of building materials have to be carried to the summit, said Wu Jian, a member of the administrative committee of Emei Mountain.
The projects were mainly in the areas of energy, water conservation and industrial production, according to Meng Wei, spokesperson with the National Development and Reform Commission.
The president was referencing his own use of hydroxychloroquine earlier this year.
The project is part of China's Belt and Road infrastructure drive, which aims to build a modern-day "Silk Road" connecting China with economies in Southeast and Central Asia, Middle East and Europe by land and by sea.

The project approved by the National Energy Administration in 2016 has an installed capacity of 50 megawatts of electricity, equivalent to the power produced by 60,000 tonnes of coal a year.
