The report showed that China's software copyright registration volume has been growing significantly - from 100,000 in 2011 to 400,000 in 2016, and 700,000 in 2017.
The regulation also called for strengthening the systematic approach to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of data.
The report said that with the authorities creating a better environment for copyright protection, the paid content field will continue to see rapid growth.
